The last part resonates with me. I'm still only around 5 years old comedy wise, and about 2 minutes old in the stand-up world. But in my on again, off again relationship with stand-up, I've sometimes see people who fall into that trap. Now that I think about it, I think anybody that wants to be "heard" can fall into cynicism too deeply, being cynical just for the sake of being cynical. I've seen myself try too, try to be angry--even really get into it...but its just not me. I'm certainly cynical, I don't know, it hasn't seemed to work for me. Who knows. I know, I know, comedy comes from pain, observation, and the need for justice, blah, blah, blah, blah. Its a balance, blah, blah, blah. Who the fuck cares. I do Mike. I do. Who are you? Dale. I live inside you. I am you innner voice. My inner voice's name is Dale?
